Don't Miss Out On Trendy Spring Nails!

Spring is about to end but this doesn’t mean you can’t get hold of trendy nails. Go NUDE! There are so many nude shades to choose from this Spring. Ultra creamy shades of beige, grey, pale pink, and white on your nails can be a great complement to your printed wardrobe.  On the downside, you need to maintain perfect nails (chips and scrapes are a no-no) when wearing these shades.

So if you don’t like fussing over your nails, catch up on this season’s latest offers: soft pastels and classic reds. We, at the finishing bar, find coral and tangerine to be hot and chic. You can mimic what Christian Dior is doing by pairing a nice hue of classic red lips with cherry-red nails. It wouldn’t hurt to try and go vintage by choosing chartreuse (that halfway between yellow and green) on your nails.

Ignite the Season With Neon Nail Polish Trends

Has there ever been a better time to enjoy doing your nails, with some off the hook colors?  The neon nail polish that is trending for spring and summer 2012 are amazing.  I wanted to put together some options that I think would go great with any style:

Part of the fun of wearing neon colors is that you’ll be in fashion if your clothes are fluorescent, too.  How much fun will you have wearing neon pink, orange, yellow, purple, or blue?

Check out this neon pink from Essie called Lovie Dovie.  It’s positively electrifying.  Shades of fuchsia are very hot nail polish trends right now, and this pink is a nice twist on fuchsia.

You can choose any of these exciting colors to be fashionable and sassy at the same time.  How gorgeous are the bright orange – OPI has “On The Same Paige”, the beautiful shades of blue, and the shiny neutral tones?  These nail polishes really pop when you choose the colors that perfectly complement your skin tone.

 

Corals are in right now, and tangerine nails are a huge trend.  Go neutral with the rest of your makeup, wear orangey neon nail polish, and add some bright pink or fuchsia to your lips for a much updated look.

Right now is the time to wear a reverse French manicure.  Have fun with it!  You can mix color with a metallic touch or choose any of the neon styles that are so fashionable right now.  If you do go with metallic to pastel, be aware that salons typically charge a few more bucks for the metallic.  And in case you didn’t know, reverse French manicures and pedicures – like neon nail polishes – are absolutely all the rage this season.
