New York City – July 5, 2011 – FOX & JANE Salon and Finishing Bar (http://www.foxandjanesalon.com), a new urban chic hair salon paying homage to London’s neighborhood pubs and watering holes, is poised to open its doors this July 8, 2011 in New York City’s Lower East Side.
Created by leading hair stylist, Lorean Cairns, and designed by the famed designer, Bobby Berk, of Bobby Berk Home (http://www.bobbyberkhome.com), FOX & JANE marries impeccable service with a fashionable and fun social vibe complete with cocktails and wine for the 21 and up crowd.
“We created FOX & JANE to bring a more social, laid-back vibe to the salon experience,” said Lorean Cairns, owner and head stylist at FOX & JANE. “Our number one goal is to create an environment where our clients can achieve a great look and then stick around to enjoy the great company.“
Lending credibility to Lorean’s expertise is an impressive and diverse list of clients including everyone from models, editors and bloggers to students and starving artists. A few high-profile clients include fashion model, Cindy Hetzel, the face of Ann Taylor; Negin Farsad, one of People Magazines 50 Funniest Women, and Jeana Costa, event marketing manager at MTV Networks.

• Detailed and customized colors such as balayage, ombre, precision foil work and subtle glazes.
• Precision cutting, texture cutting and detailed finishing work for short and long hair.
• Special event styling such as the perfect blowout, smooth sexy hair, or long lasting up-styles.
• Keratin smoothing treatments, or even permanent curls for customized texture.
• Specialized men’s grooming with complimentary “clean-ups” between cuts.
