Dazzling the industry for more than 6 years, Matt is well-versed in color with certifications in Redken, Joico, Logics DNA and Aveda. His experience is paramount in finish work and creative updo styling. Matt has worked with members of the Global Hair and Fashion Group, as well as with members of Intercoiffure.
Matt has plenty of experience working for both stage and music video productions, and he combines his background in music, stage and hair to take on an imaginative view of the industry. Matt continuously strives to provide something unique and different for each of his clients.

VANESSA MARTINI - The Blow Out Queen
Vanessa is a native New Yorker and a LES/Brooklyn pioneer. Trained at one of the most prestigious salons in the country, Oscar Blandi Salon, she perfected her skills working as a colorist. Styling hair is deep in her repertoire as well. As a freelance artist for the past four years, Vanessa has worked on countless celebrities, and includes in her portfolio being a personal stylist for actor Liam Neeson and colorist to fashion icon Daphne Guinness (check out her color on Daphne for the NARS campaign).
Her trend-conscious approach with each client shows in her work. During her consultations with new clients she uses her artistic eye to choose a look that is most flattering to the individual. Passionate about the beauty industry,with her openly-inviting personality she will help transform the way you see yourself and will share her insider tips so that you can re-create your favorite styles at home. She's been labeled "The Blow Out Queen" by her clients, so the next time you have a big night out spoil yourself and spend some time with Vanessa. She specializes in all types of braids and period hair, as well as all types of modern blow outs.

CLARA LEONARD - artistic and creative
Clara's main focus behind the chair is the relationship she has with her
clients and their hair. She feels that the most important factors are
communication and education. Although Clara loves styling from season to
season and mastering current trends, she is dedicated to delivering what
looks and feels best for each client.
Clara received her primary training with Toni and Guy in Dallas, and has
continued her education at Bumble and Bumble in New York and with
companies such as Kevin Murphy, John Allan's and Wella. She has been
behind the chair for over 6 years. Styling in New York for over 3 years and
in 2012 received a write up on Refinery29's Beauty Black Book list for her
color work. During her time here she has become a go-to girl for ombres,
all different shades of blondes, and bold, bright colors. She also specializes
in men's grooming, short classic or edgy cuts of any type, as well as wavy
or textured hair.
Outside of the salon Clara is an editorial stylist and can be found styling
and assisting on set for major photo shoots in New York, Dallas, and
Portland. She also frequently collaborates with local designers, artist,
musicians and online shoe and clothing companies. When she isn't behind
the chair, she can be found searching for vintage pieces, riding her bike, or
infusing liquor.

MARÍA CRISTINA ALVAREZ - flair and creativity
María Cristina Alvarez brings her own flair and creativity to each
service. She has spent much of the last decade combining her two
great loves, art and hair- which is evident in her individualized and
customized service.
Her immense talent as an artist shines through
with her love for hand painted color such as the Ombre' and Balayage,
whether it's creating a natural blended highlight or bright, bold color.
As a DevaCurl certified 'curly hair' expert she enjoys working with all
hair textures, especially curly and wavy hair. Maria understands how
crucial hair is to your sense of self, thus one of Maria's passions is getting to know her clients. This way Maria can listen, consult and help design a better style that her clients will love, time and time again.

ALISON KUSHNER - 14 years industry experience
Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Alison has been a
hairstylist for almost 14 years. Since the age of 3 she has been
surrounded by the beauty industry, with her mother managing salons for
many years. At the young age of 12, Alison got her first job as a
shampoo assistant, and ever since then she has been in love with all
facets and areas of hair care! Specializing in color, she has taken
several classes with multiple color lines and is now a certified color
specialist.
Alison attends more than a few classes and shows each year, and she
is an educator for Nano Keratin Relaxer, which is the only relaxer in
the world without formaldahyde. "My favorite part of doing hair is
when someone sits in my chair feeling down and we re-do their whole
look, and they walk out feeling amazing!" Alison says.

LOREAN CAIRNS - Color specialist
Lorean has quickly become one of NYC's most sought-after hair stylists. Her approachable and open personality, combined with her flawless expertise and timeless interpretation of cutting-edge style, has earned her the trust of NYC's most prominent and discerning clientele.
Beginning her career in Denver, Colorado at the Aveda Institute, Lorean quickly found a high demand for her celebrated work. She spent several years at an elite Colorado salon as lead stylist and color educator. Continually advancing her education at the world famous Redken Exchange in New York City, she trained with international Redken Artistic Director, Kris Sorbie.
Her extensive career in hairdressing includes editorial styling for magazines and commercials, styling for fashion shows, and coloring and styling celebrities' hair for film and television in addition to having become a beauty and trend forecaster for several beauty publications, including Celebrity Style Magazine. She has been fortunate to be part of the hair teams at some of New York City's elite salons, including renowned celebrity salon Rita Hazan. Lorean has quickly built a loyal following and reputation as the "go to girl" for modern trends such as Balayage and Ombre hair color combined with fresh beautiful cuts, and in 2012 was named the "colorist to go to in New York City" by Allure Magazine. She is an expert at interpreting high-fashion styles and giving them a wearable, everyday application that keeps her clients coming back year after year.
Following the success of the first Fox & Jane location in New York City's Lower East Side, business partners Billy Canu and Lorean Cairns quickly expanded the concept into San Diego, California as well as a second New York location in the East Village. The pair also launched a beauty and event brand in late 2011, The Finishing Bar- a beauty bar for nails, cosmetics, events and bridal parties. The pair look forward to more expansions in the coming months!

Nicole O'toole - Styling Assistant both LES and East Village Page - under Lorean.
Nicole O'toole has been assisting with creating fantastic styles and looks for four years now, and has found a passion for doing blowouts. A graduate of Empire Beauty School's class of 2011, she wants to solidify her success as a talented stylist and also is working on achieving her dreams of being a well-known stylist and colorist in New York City.
"Nothing makes me more satisfied than seeing a client I blew out walking down the street with bouncy, beautiful hair and knowing that I did that!", says Nicole. She commends her co-workers and fellow talented stylists by explaining, "I adore working with such skilled and articulate stylists, who train and inspire me every day."
